If simply restarting your Wi-Fi didn't fix the Apple ID verification problem, your next option is to reset your phone's network settings. While this may sound like a chore, iOS makes it fairly easy to do.
After updating to the latest iOS version, your iPhone may continuously ask for your Apple ID password. The possible reasons behind this issue could be a failed download or a problem with your account settings in iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, or the App Store.
Do you have a valid payment method on file in your Apple ID? If not, you won't be able to download any app, including the free ones. Manage your Apple ID payment in Settings on your iOS device, in iTunes on Mac/ PC, and even in the Apple Music app on your Android phone.
If any of your subscriptions are unpaid, your iPhone will say “Verification Required” when you try to download a new app. To prevent problems like this from happening in the future, make sure the subscription automatically renews.
Your Apple ID cannot be used until your email address has been verified. To verify your email address, please visit My Apple ID. If you would like to use a different Apple ID, sign out.

Why does the App Store keep asking for my Apple ID?
The repeated appearance of password queries by the App Store can indicate that some apps need iCloud login. App Store keeps asking for password if you have downloaded apps that require iCloud login before the update.
- On your device, go to Settings > Your Name > Payment & Shipping.
- Enter your Apple ID password, if asked. Then you may do one of the following: Add a new payment method: Tap Add Payment Method. You can add a credit/debit card or PayPal.

If you're already using two-factor authentication with your Apple ID, you can't turn it off. If you updated to two-factor authentication inadvertently, you can turn it off within two weeks of enrollment. If you do, your account is less secure and you can't use features that require a higher level of security.
You can see this option when you sign in to appleid.apple.com. Before you can use a new or updated Apple ID, we'll send you a verification email to make sure that the email address belongs to you.
You'll need either a state issued ID or drivers license to verify your identity. There is no workaround or alternative to verification.
