Can you overdraft on Apple Pay?
Your Apple Cash Card is not a credit card and does not provide overdraft or any line of credit.
If you mean you attached your bank's account's debit card to iTunes, iTunes will likely push the entire charge to the account. Either your bank will decline the charge, or will pay the additional $1.09, but charge you $30 overdraft fee for "the service rendered for you".
Did your bank recently "refund" you for something? If so you will need to transfer money from your bank account to your Apple Cash to bring the balance to zero or higher. I had a disputed charge on my account. So there was an adjusted balance, which is what put me at a negative balance.
About that Apple Cash card…
If you don't have enough in there, you can pay the balance with a debit or prepaid card. You can also use money on your Apple Cash card to pay for things using Apple Pay.

Just a friendly reminder that there are absolutely no overdraft fees with the Cash App and Cash Card!
Please note that you are not required to request a credit balance refund if you overpay your Apple Card. If you have a negative balance on your account, meaning you've paid more than you owe, future purchases will be credited until the balance is back to zero.

just go to settings snd sign out of icloud all together then sign back in. your wallet should reset and the balances should refresh.

You can't overdraft a Venmo card.

Apple Cash balance limit
